June's Story
Life
Hello.
I have had an interesting life to say the least. I enjoyed change. I married a man who owned an aircraft company when I was 27. He had three children. It was my first marriage. We have one boy and he has a girl and a boy. Altogether we have six grandchildren and four great grand. The kids have been successful. We enjoyed being parents. I have enjoyed living in Dallas, Tucson, AZ And Clarke County MS. For the past six years we have lived here in Ackerman, MS. A town the size of a tea cup that produced two governors, one Miss America and numerous athletic stars. It is 22 miles from MSU. I graduated from MSU in 1994. I don't live by numbers. I live from idea to idea. I am a social worker in a mentally retarded community group home. It has changed my life and I hope the people I work with feel the same about me. I am blessed with good health and retirement is not in my vocabulary. I was given a great gift by a friend, a little Yorkie. She is a treasure. learning experience. each time we build or remodel we have different experiences with the builder. Experiences which make us grow in our walk with the Lord.
We are Christians and want to live the word. I could write a book about the many experiences we have had while learning the word of God and asking for Godly wisdom and guidance. I am sure most of you have as well.
I would like to hear from the kids that I considered my close friends: Eileen Rushing,( I believe she married Bobby P. don't remember last name) Jan Aycock, I can't recall exactly but I believe she married a Jack Morris. Shirley ( who lived in alta mesa and had a MR sister). I remember faces and names of many of the kids I was in school with. I do have a 1956 Annual. I remember Darla /DarleneThompson Ray McIntire, Wilson Parma. to name a few, what have all of you been doing all these years. I hope all of you have had a blessed life with abundant peace and joy. Let me hear from you all and the intereting life you all have lived.
