Married Doreen in 1970 after discharge from USAF with Commendation Medal for Outstanding Service. Moved to Rhode Island to attend the Rhode Island School of Design. Two sons born 12 months apart forcing me to leave RISD due to the expense. We moved to Vermont where I finished a BA degree in Art Education and a MA in Reading & Learning Disabilities. ngland. Owned a small business for a few years before returning to college at age 50 to obtain a MA degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Massachusetts.
Worked as a counselor at a psychiatric mental hospital before retiring as a Clinical Supervisor/Counselor at an inpatient treatment facility counseling dually diagnosed / addiction clients. I was also a certified interventionist.
