Paul's Story

You can contact me directly at tortdog at gmail dot com. Right out of high school I stayed around for a year to await a mission for the LDS Church. Then, I served for two years in Brazil (paradise - up near Salvador, Recife and Fortaleza). My wife still begrudges the fact that I had a maid the entire time (well, almost except for the one who robbed us blind and disappeared leaving four 19-year old men to wash laundry by hand for a week!). Once back to the states, I finished my schooling at Sac State and became a CPA working for Grant Thornton in Sacramento...Expand for more
. That's about when I got married to my wife and we started our family (now with five trolls). From there we went on to law at BYU and eventually accepted a position with Baker & McKenzie in Chicago. We are now in Texas. My brother lives nearby (he also fled California). We love it here, and are just getting ready to take on a couple of horses after having chickens for a year. My oldest daughter (now 10) is a total country girl, and loves the animals. And to my shocking distress, I have come to appreciate country music, though classic rock is till my fav.
