Paul's Story
I would have graduated from MacArthur in 1965 but my family moved to Massapequa in March of that year. I'm still upset with that decision to this day :-). Currently living in the Atlanta metro the past 22 years. Retired. Have one daughter. Grew up on Prairie Lane and attended Gardiners Ave. Elementary, then Salk JHS then MacArthur. rs at the Slate Lane Pool and our stick ball games into Jerry Evert's backyard :-).
Anybody remember the Friday night "hops" at Gardiners Avenue when we first "noticed"girls? Used to play Gorilla tag in the darkened halls. Punch ball every morning on the basketball courts and the wonderful field days which ended the school year. Thank goodness for the memories.
