I loved Addison Trail. It was a relief to move from Iowa. Those farm kids can be brutal. Luckily I made friends with Tony Lavato who helped me out of quite a few jams. Also I was unafraid to enter the washrooms and locker room because guys knew they would bet busted up if they messed with me. Tony if you are out there please write sometime. After graduation I went to U of I in Champaign. The 70's was such a fantastic period. Who doesn't feel nostalgic when thinking about the music, art and friends they knew back then. My commercial art career began in a small ad agency in Champaign. I wanted to experience life in the big city so I took a multimedia job in Chicago. That was back in the days when artists got hard copy from a typesetting house, cut it up with exacto knives, sent it thru a waxer and pasted it on a layout sheet.
