Paul's Story
Life
1987 - Graduated High School (on time, truly a miracle).
1988 - Went to U-Lowell as a music major; learned how to drink whiskey.
1988 - Dropped out of U-Lowell to work for a moving company pushing pianos and refridgerators up and down stairs; learned how to drink Gatorade.
1989 - Enrolled at Salem State College (business major); Learned how to drink whiskey alot faster and more economically.
1995 - Graduated with a BSBA, began work as a child care counselor at St Ann's Home in Methuen, a good, solid use of a business degree.
1995 - Married (a fellow Ranger, class of 1987, she lost a bet).
1996 - Began MS in Mathematics - Salem State College; learned how to count whiskey shots and calculate the probability of throwing up.
1997 - Dropped out of MS program (too friggin' hard, what was I thinking).
1997 - Fund Accounting, Mellon Bank (ahhhh that's more like it, no heavy lifting here); learned how to keep track and report on my whiskey consumption.
2000 - Graduated New Hampshire College w/MBA (ag...Expand for more

2000 - Started analyst position consulting banks on managing interst rate risk (SUPER EXCITING STUFF!!!!).
2000 - First born, Alex Charles; traded whiskey for coffee.
2001 - Remember every horrible detail the second week of September of this year.
2003 - Second born, Andrew Paul; traded coffee back for whiskey.
2005 - Business Analyst for a start up firm in the private equity world; learned how to drink coffee and whiskey together.
2006 - Business Systems Analyst, Bank of New York Mellon
2007 - Spending my days avoiding work, passing on responsibility, and assigning blame.
All the while continuing to play ear-splitting lead guitar and occasional sidework on drums in all the North-Shore/Southern New Hampshire establishments of ill-repute. It helps keep me sane... plus my kids think I'm a "Rock Star", but that's probably only because I tell them I am.
