Paul's Story
Okay, here's my story.
Went to Miami. Graduated in '84. Took a job with Arthur Andersen in NYC. Got married in '85. Moved back to Cincinnati in '86. Left Andersen in '87 to join Renaissance Investment Management. Elise blessed us with her birth in '89 and then Matthew in '91. Bought out the original founders of Renaissance in '95 with my present partner. Divorced. Remarried. Divorced again 3 years ago. Third times a charm, eh?
Okay, that's the facts. To fill in a little bit, I have two great kids that are almost grown. The business is good, although the market has been a little challenging of late (anyone else notice that?) I've enjoyed plenty of activities and adventures including running 3...Expand for more
marathons, golfing Pebble Beach, biking down Mt Haliakala in Maui, hiking Mt Bierdstadt (a 14,000 peak) in Colorado, traveling through most of the Carribean and some of Europe, dating long distance with a Danish woman who is still one of my best friends, blah, blah, blah. In two weeks, I'm headed to St John to get my PADI open water scuba certification. So, in short, life's been good. Not exactly what I pictured 29 years ago when we were seniors, and with a few bumps in the road, but all-in-all, I can't complain.
