Paul's Story
It's been a long time since highschool. Wish I could take the information back and do some things different, same old story. I moved around after grad.
I worked at a few jobs here and there. I found myself in Tx. Spent about a year there. Moved back to Eldo.
in June '86. Worked at a get-by job untill I landed a job with Ensco. I pretty much just marked time for the next eight years working at this thing called life.
My wife and I did manage to have three kids; Robby
10-'88, Katie 7-'90, and Michael 4-'93. In July '94 I
gave notice at Ensco, got my CDL, and went into business with my in-laws. My wife packed three kids,
house, and two dogs up and moved to Tx, yep we're
back in TX. I ...Expand for more
covered 42 of the 48 states I could drive to. I also went to Canada twice. It was pretty but the wrong time to go...winter! The thermostat in the truck would drop when I slowed down! That's cold!
I was paid to go to Washington DC. I delivered an air
drier to George Washington Memorial Hospital. I stopped to see some sights(no camera, no pictures).
Hot shot business went sour, deregulation, so I went to work for a propane gas company, Enderby Gas.
Of the three years in Tx half was hot shotting freight
and half at Enderby Gas. I was licened in Tx and Ok.
An amazing event in my life changed the course I was on and took me down a different road...
