Paul's Story
Life
I was married to Shanda Spurgeon for 13 years I have been divorced for 8 years. I have 3 sons the twins are 19 and are attending College at U.N.L. and my youngest son is 15 going to be 16 in March of 2005. I have a new better half and we have been together for about 8 years. She works for the State of Nebraska in Child Support. I love to Play Golf, Hunt and to Fish during the summer. I have a 17 foot Starcraft Boat with all the toys. oungest son is 17 and a Junior at HHS. My Step daughter is attending UNMC to become a Dr.
I hope all the classmates from 1977 have had a good life. I hope some of you finally realized that your no different then the rest of us.
Workplace
I have been with the Hastings Police Department since 1981. I have worked in all areas and was a Detective for 11 years. I am second in command on my shift with the Department
I love what I do for a living. I have made a difference in other peoples lives. I even saved three kids lives by pulling them from a fire several years ago. There was a big story in the Tribune.
