Paul's Story
Prior to graduating I got heavily involved in the "Draft Resisters League", in Chicago, and radical politics. With the promise of being drafted I enlisted in the Air Force to avoid the obvious. After basic training and assignment to a permanent base, in Idaho, I again began working again with the Anti-War movement and GI organizing.

ar. I missed my Idaho, one of the few places that felt like home and truly touched me like no other place. In June of that year, prior to moving, I got married to someone from Libertyville. By August, the three of us, were living in Boise, Idaho.(That's right I said three. I became the proud father of a beautiful two year old girl).
For the next several years, besides bringing two more little ones into the world, I began changing a long time interest into a more focused study of native plants, ethno-botany(Native cultures uses of plants)and alternative medicine and healing.. Which in turn put me in contact with a varied group of Native Elders, crafters and healers.
That brings things up to the time line of 80's. (More later)
