Paul's Story
I was lucky enough to sign a bonus with the Chicago Cubs of $1500 following my baseball years at Harvard and found that the "Windy City" offered tremendous opportunities beyond baseball-actually I never made it to Chicago, except to sign the contract, I was sent to Des Moines, where, unfortunately, I found, like many before me, the difficulty of a curve ball, anyway..............stay with me here, I returned to Chicago where I became active with my loud mouth, as a trader on the trading floor, wheat and corn futures were my specialty. nd pretty detailed guys, I might add, my fingers are crossed. In the meantime, I am happily involved with a project that involves clonning of dogs and cats, and have approximatly 30 (50?) of each living on my huge parcel of land in western Kansas. Kansas basically sucks, lots of tornados (but lots of wheat-I own some of it), but our basketball team is terrific and cats and dogs are free to roam, whether related or not. Hopefully, I will see all of you at the 50th reunion. By the way, I had 6 hits in 43 at bats for the Des Moines Registras of the Mid West League, all singles, in fact, all bunts. I also had little sucsess in the field, making 14 errors in 12 chances, don't ask, it can happen. One of the beauties of living in Kansas is....................is..................is, screw it, I forget, no I don't, it sucks. I am so sick of it here, I am moving within the next few days to Nebraska.
