Did you know I’m married to a Clawson High Grad. After Graduation I Went to Wayne State University for a year. always wanted to go into law enforcement. I found out fast that it was hard in our area. Very little hiring of local law enforcement. While at Wayne State several members of the national guard told me about being an MP. I also wanted to see the world. On 4 August 1978 I joined the US Army to be a Military Policeman. I lived in 6 states (AL, VA, AZ, CO, TX and IN) two countries (West Germany 3 1/2 years 1983 to 1987 and South Korea three times 1980 to 1981, 1992 to 1993 and 1996 to 1997). Other than Michigan I liked living in Texas and Alabama the most. I did not see combat. I retired 31 August 1998 with over 20 years of active duty. I stayed in Texas. I was there for almost 10 years.
