Paula's Story

After graduating from Marshall I moved to Newark, Ohio and taught kindergarten. Met my husband the first year I taught. He was the uncle of one of my students. We went out on a blind date in Dec. were engaged in Feb. and married in June. We were married for 22 1/2 years before he passed away. I have two wonderful daughters, Kristin who is married to Lee and has 3 children: Max 10, Cole 7 and Brynn almost 3.She graduated from Ohio Northern University.She is a full time first grade teacher.Kristin and I did a job share together the last year I taught school. er. Whitney is married to Mark and they are expecting their first child in Feb. She graduated from Miami University with a degree in fine arts. She has her band and was named Cincinnati entertainer of the year a couple of years ago. She works for a production company in Cincy. I am active in my church, substitute teach, am learning to quilt, love making my own cards, volunteer in the community, work out at the Y 3 times and week (if possible),belong to a book club,travel when I can (just had another knee replaced so I am sticking pretty close to home right now, trying to lose weight, and really enjoying being Nana to my grandchildren.
