Paula's Story
Graduated from WHS in 1965 (best year ever!). Has it really been 50 years?
Seriously....can it be 50 years already? YIKES!! 1965 was an awesome class. Those were the days, right?
In the attached photo, I am holding my neighbor's son, Sonag, as they pack to move back to South Africa, where Ruan's family own thousands of acres of farmland. She wanted Sonag to know her family and his roots. I am going to miss them terribly.
I moved to NW Ohio in 1968, after marrying a farm boy who was going to college in California. I lost Neal, the love of my life, to cancer in 2008. My job was transferred, at the same time, to Columbus, Ohio. I love it here, as both my son and daughter moved here after graduating college. Lots going on in Columbus, Ohio, other than the Championship College Football Team, The Ohio State Buckeyes!! Columbus was named the city with the "smartest" people, and 15th in the U.S. for Art Festivals. (Love the annual Art Festival!) Very tech savvy in these ...Expand for more

Loved my time at Worthington. Worked as an executive assistant to the Operations Manager, and Event Planner for Customer Relations. (Ford, GM, Chrysler, etc). More fun than work!
I worked for Worthington Steel for 17 years, retiring in May, 2014 and took a part time position in the office at my church, Delaware Grace.Church two months later. Prior to Worthington I worked at a publishing company as the HR Manager.
Life is good, but still do not like Ohio winters, that last from November to April (and two snows in May this year).
Went to Aruba in March and it was as close to paradise as one can get on this earth. Will go again at the end of March next year. Still have the warmth of So.Cal in my veins and will NEVER like cold weather.
Would love to hear from you! Does anyone know where Linda Mickelson is these days? Pam Richards? Texas Nelson? For some reason those names popped up in my head.
