This is Memorial Weekend 2008 - my dog and I are on the road. We are moving lock, stock and barrel to New Orleans! One of my daughters and her kids and husband are there. I got a job that I am pleased about and a great place to live. I'm psyched! We aren't there yet, just left Minnesota today. Come to NOLA, let me know when you do! June 2009 - still here and we love it! Let me know if you come into town! August, 2011 -still love it here. Have a new job teaching 7th grade and doing some special ed. It is wonderful to be with my family! July, 2012 - still in New Orleans! Going back to work August 1st. No hurricanes or tropical storms this summer. We had one hurricane, Gustav, the first summer I was here. We had to evacuate, quite an experience! Fun place to visit and taste the cuisine.
