Paula's Story
Life
We live in Eastern Ontario, the closest major town is Cornwall (we are about a 15-20 minute drive from the Quebec border, I should have paid more attention in French class). We moved up here Dec. 31, 1999. My husband and I own a home in the country with 21.5 acres of land. We have 3 children. Our daughter is 15, and our sons are 12 and 10. I went back to college and graduated in 1999. I am a Registered Nurse. I have worked in many different areas and most recently was employed at the Ottawa Hospital. was diagnosed with cancer and with the help of my family and friends have beat this. My parents moved up here to be closer to us in 2003 (sorry Sis, I want them close to me for now). We have 2 dogs, a Jack Russell and a Black Lab, a cat, a 2 goldfishand a hamster (our youngest sons') and soon we will own a horse (gift to our daughter). I enjoy reading, baking, walking, watching TV, camping, gardening (both flowers/plants and vegetables) and spending time with my family. I am lucky, I have achieved more and have more than I thought I ever would have. I am married to my best friend. I am very close to my daughter and sons.
