Paula's Story

I find myself up very early in the morning which is not unusual; what is unusual is that I am up at this hour with nothing that I need to do. The story wizard popped up so I decided to play around with it until I am ready to doze off or until I have to leave for work. How do I hope old friends remember me? Interesting question here. Thirty years later, I would be pleased if old friends just remember me; I don't really care how! ;-) "How" was more important then than it is now. How do I blow off steam? I blow off steam by picking a fight with the husband. Of all of the things we do well, a good knock-down/drag out marital spat works wonders for the both of us. Those who know us well, know of the "Sunday Afternoon Family Fued". . . The wildest thing I ever did in school? LOL!!! I was only a wild child at heart. I...Expand for more
didn't do "anything" considered wild. Where have I lived since leaving my old home town? Metairie. "da burbs" I followed my "then boyfriend" to this concrete stomping ground and have been a fish out of water ever since. I am now counting down the days until I am out of the burbs and back in small town USA surrounded by the forest. Life doesn't always turn out the way we expect (no kidding). What has been my biggest surprise? Easy: What has surprised me most about how my life has turned out has been my employment as a tutor in the Science Resource Center at the City Park Campus at Delgado Community College. If I could improve my home? ROFLMAO! This place is scheduled with an appointment with a bulldozer in Dec 2010! That's if I can convince my youngest child that our lives would be better somewhere else.
