Pauletta's Story
I actually never graduated with the class of 1974. I was suppose to but had quit school due to being pregnant with my first daughter.
I had married the summer of 1972 at the young age of 16. At the age of 18 I had my second child (a son). I had two more daughters one in 1982 and one in 1986. I had remained married to the father of my children for 15 yrs. altogether before it ended in a divorce.
During my marriage I had returned to school and did achieve my GED.
I was a single mother of four beautiful children for a short while when I had met my husband with which I am happily married to now for 21 yrs. He has been a wonderful father to children that are not of his blood. But as they say it takes more than p...Expand for more
uttingg children here to be a father. This man has proven this over and over throughout our marriage and still continues to do so!
Shortly after my second marriage I had returned to school and received my nursing license. I had only practiced for a short while when my husband had asked if I would like to be a stay at home mom to raise the younger of the two. He owns his own company and it became a very lucrative business. I have my hand in it myself but just a minimal amount is needed from me.
As I have stated I never actully graduated with the class of 1974 but was in the Kankakee School District until my departure in 1972.
It is nice to come onto this site and see some familiar faces from years past. :)
