After High school I messed around a lot, though I did end up going to Cal State Long Beach for a while. I was married in 1989. As soon as I sobered up enough and looked at my life I moved my wife Rory and I out to Florida where in 1992 I began my carrier in the US Navy. My son Kyle was born at the end of 1993, though I wasn't around much, as I was doing boiler and controls repairs, and running the ships boiler rooms, so I spent most of my days at sea in the Mediterranean and black sea. For the rest of my career we went up and down the east coast. In 1996 I become an ordained Pagan minister, and was the first to act as such on a navy aircraft carrier.
