Peggy's Story
Never moved away from Canandaigua although my 4 siblings AND parents did. Married to our fellow classmate, John Ferran, for 27 years now. Most of you may remember that John is a postal carrier with the Canandaigua PO. 34 years now. For the past 11 years I have been a senior HR professional at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and I have to say it's the best job of my life.
Children:
Our daughter Jaimie (31, ok, do the math-John got a package deal) was married last year to a wonderful man and lives in Seneca Falls - we have to wait until they are done traveling to Italy in October and a cruise in January before planting any grandkids. istmas '09 we will have that little one to play with. Son Andrew, 25, is working and living in Rochester with his NU sweetheart. They're thinking of moving away to either Milwaukee or Raleigh, NC - quite the decision.
John and I are enjoying being empty nesters and having paid off our house on Seneca Point Road this year, we are extensively remodeling. We enjoy traveling, riding our Harley, going to movies, restaurants and concerts. And most importantly we are surrounded by such good friends here!
