I went to Multnomah Jr. College (now Portland State) for a year on a work/study program, and liked working better than studying. :) In February of 1962, I moved to San Mateo, CA and worked at a law firm in Burlingame. I met my husband in my apartment building a year and a half later. We married and moved to the Boston area to be close to his folks as he was an only child. I stayed home with my daughters for seven years, then went to work for Stoneham High School where I was the senior secretary.
