Peggy's Story

A few might remember me for being one of the first girls in auto shop. (I grew up with only my dad, and for me it was a way to have something in common with him). And a few from Lochburn Junior High, might have noticed how much I also loved Home Economics. Otherwise, I am pretty un-memorable. My Life now, is My Spouse, and 'Ray's Bakery', my children, and my niece. And 'Friends Church' here in Fairbanks. My Pets I presently have a husky/lab mix named "Hank" after a character from a series of books by Jon Earkson. I'm also still horse crazy after all these years, but am 'between horses' as some say. My Kids I adopted my daughters, who are both Native Am...Expand for more
erican, Alaskans. They're both interested in becoming medical missionaries, and my oldest is leaving for college this summer. I always wanted to be a horse mounted park ranger, part time; and a wife and mother full time. I got at least half that deal. My dad pushed hard for me to be some kind of professional. Maybe at least a flight attendant, since it had a little more status than just waitress.... The wildest thing I ever did, was actually at the high school I graduated at in Canby Oregon. A bunch of us found a blue law, that said the school must provide livery, if a child rides a horse to school, so 3 or 4 of us, saddled up, and put the law to the test!
