Peggy's Story

Life There's not much going on in my life, so I try to stay busy by being involved with the Tri-State Genealogical Society and helping the archivist at Willard Library. In 2000 I successfully applied for a grant through the Indiana Humanities Council to write and publish a book, "After the Ride: The United Spanish War Veterans, Dept. of Indiana, James F. Fee Camp No.37." A copy of the book is at Willard Library, and I've given one to the Evansville Museum of Arts, Science and History. I also write for "Maturity Journal," focusing on arti...Expand for more
cles on Evansville or regional history. I also taught Beginning Genealogy for Ivy Tech's Senior Scholars program. For four years I worked at Fire & Rain (co-owned by Joe Ellsworth!), who did a fantastic job of renovating the old Municipal Market on First Ave. into office space. There's no significant others in my life; currently, there's not even a pet. My parents are gone, and I've fully appreciated their wisdom after I was left to make decisions on my own, without their input. I'd love to hear from anyone; a prompt reply is assured.
