Peggy's Story
After graduation, I went to Fordham University and graduated in 1976. As you probably remember, not the greatest job market. After doing a number of short term jobs, I started my career in commercial real estate investment with New York Life Insurance Company. I moved around a bit, a few years in Cleveland, a few in southern California. In 1986, back in New York, I decided to go to law school at night at Fordham. husband. Over the next few years, we had two children. We lived in Yonkers, NY from 1991-2005 and Pelham, NY from 2005-2014. The boys are now in their early twenties. I stopped working for New York Life in 2002 so I could stay home with the boys. I did a lot of volunteer work incuding being a member of Pelham's Board of Education. We moved to our summer house in Quogue in 2014. I am now working as a teaching assistant at Quogue School. It keeps me busy and I have summers off which is great when you live in a beach town.
