Peggy's Story
Since last seen by classmates (fall of 2005), not a whole lot has changed for me. I'm still married (just celebrated our 41st anniversary) to Richard Peck. Still live in Lakewood, OH.
And...I still work at MedPageToday, but now I'm vice president/executive editor, which means that I run the editorial side of the operation. My job is perfect fit because I love news and I've grown to love the news of medicine. We are a 24/7 news team and we currently partner with ABC News to produce stories for ABCnews.com, cover medical conferences worldwide providing on-the-ground news for world news tonight, ABC radio network, and GMA (we have regular segment on GMA weekend called Doctor's Orders). It's great fun. Although most of my time is taken up with administrative tasks, I still do reporting and this spring I'll be heading to Denver, Paris, and Berlin to cover cardiology news (my favorite). In August I'll go to Stockholm to cover more news of the heart.
I've staying in touch with the other Peggy (Peggy Clohessy Silva)and we had a great time in Maine at her daughter's wedding in 2008.

ho is a middle school guidance counselor, Tim, a mechanical engineer, and Amanda, who do PR for University Settlement in the City and who preforms every Wednesday night at The Pit (an improv theater) in NY.
Richard and I have a sailboat and try to get out on Lake Erie as much as possible, but on some years when we calculate our dock fees and the amount of time undersail, we realize that we could have booked an Atlantic crossing for less. Oh well.
We are great fans of classic movies, so for Christmas 2009 I bought Richard passes to the first ever TCM Classic Film Festival in Hollywood. We are very psyched about this, but unfortunately we will be cutting our stay in short because I need to speak at a session on the media's role in women's health at NYU medical center on April 24 (if you are in the city stop by to see me).
Since my office is in NJ, I spend at least one week a month in Little Falls, right next to Montclair State. I would love to get together for dinner with any of you have stayed in the Garden State.
Finally, I'm hoping that reunion is in the works. If so, and help is needed, let me know.
