Peggy Scherrinsky:  

I always wanted to be an comedic actress when I grew up. Instead, I went to the school of hard knocks, and eventually got my degree in nursing. I will admit, I still do everything with a dramatic flair. I still love vintage clothing, jewelry and hats, and those who know me well are not surprised sometimes at some of my ensembles. Strangers, however, will do a second take, and I have overheard some of the remarks. I have been called an old hippie, and even a witch. Beauty of it is, while I had no confidence in myself in high school, and always felt like an outcast, I have matured into somebody comfortable in my own skin, and I really don't care what anybody else thinks.
