I am a widow living in Lincoln, IL, (about 120 miles from Carthage and NE of Springfield about 25 miles). I am the proud mother of 6 children, 5 sons and 1 daughter. I have a 8 year old granddaughter, Kyleigh, dad Kyle.. She has a 5 year old brother, Cooper, dad Kyle, and my granddaughter Katherine, dad Collin, is 16 months. My step-grandsons are Jackson, 15, Caden,, Stacie and Clint, 13, and Roman 5, Collin and Jess. My youngest grandson is Kal who was born last Friday to Candice and Corey, and has been in NICU since then. Hopefully he will be released soon. His has been discharged already even though she had a caesarean section due to her heart problems. I went back to college when my youngest was 4, and I graduated from WIU in 1996 with a degree in Business Education while still living in Colchester. I didn't get finished with my master's degree in Instructional Technology and Telecommunications that I worked on. I have taught at the Jr. College level for Spoon River College in Rushville and Midstate College at the Carthage Campus, as well as Hartsburg-Emden High School.. I moved to the Lincoln area in 2000 so I could teach business classes at the high school level in Hartsburg. I was active in the Hartsburg-Emden Music Boosters for 8 years and helped with the costumes for school plays and musicals until it was terminated.
