Peggy's Story

I have been married to Rod Smith for 28 years. We have a son, Clay who graduated from UT and is a biomedical engineer in Austin. Our daughter, Amy is a Senior in high school and plans to go to Texas State University to study sports medicine. After graduating from Stephens College and TCU, I began teaching in Ft.Worth. been a First grade teacher for the last 13 years here in Weatherford, Texas. Weatherford is a lot like Paris. It is a great place to raise kids. Everyone looks out for you and lets you know if your kid is racing up and down Main street etc. After Amy graduates Rod and I will probably retire and then who knows what life has in store for me. So far it has been a good ride!
