Carla's Story
I never really know what to say in these things--how do you sum up over 30 years in a paragraph or two? I married Kevin Wagner a few months after I graduated and we are still married 33+ years later. We have three children, two boys and a girl, and four grandchildren. We have stayed in Laurel our whole lives and live there yet.
I started working for the Department of Agriculture two days after we graduated and I am still there. Ya think I am a creature of habit, maybe? I am a paralegal and it is not bad as far as jobs go but I sure am looking forward to just lying around and soaking up some sun one of these years lol

ernight six pound weight loss (sometimes you gotta laugh or you'll cry).
My oldest son, Jimmy, has three kids; the oldest, my granddaughter Brittany, graduated from good old Pallotti High this past summer. Jimmy owns a home improvement and flooring business which my younger son, JR (who still lives with us), works for. I get a kick out of seeing them going off to work together cause they sure never got along like that when they were growing up. My daughter and her son, the new Kevin James Wagner, live with us also. I never thought I would be helping to raise a wee one at this point in my life, but he is my sunshine and has kept me going through many a dark hour.
My dad died in 1983 and my mom joined him in 1995. It is quite a sobering moment when you realize you are an orphan and have to be the adult. My sisters and my brother have all stayed in the area and we see each other often--you just can't beat the support and love from a big family!
Well, that should bring us up to date as of July 2009. I'll let y'all have the next chapter once I have lived it...
