William's Story
If you knew me at Kenwood High School, you were probably either in the orchestra, where I played viola, or the band, where I played trombone. I guess I met one or two other people in one of those pesky classes they made me take, too. :-) My best grades were in math and Spanish.
After high school I went immediately to Essex Community College and graduated in 1971.
I worked at a number of jobs (I'll spare you the list). This includes a year in the Brethren Volunteer Service, through my church where I met my wife, Diane. We have been married since June of 1976.
My last employment was with the State of Maryland from 1984 - 2001. I retired from the M...Expand for more
aryland Transportation Authority Police Department in December of '01 and haven't missed it a bit. :-)
We purchased a home in The Villages in Florida in 2002.
I now spend much of my time playing on the computer, and I occasionally play golf, or even dig out my paints. I'm actually certified to teach oil painting (landscapes) by Bob Ross of the PBS TV show "The Joy of Painting." You can see pics of a few of my paintings in my photo album. My wife and I took a year of ice dancing lessons a while back, and I hope to get back into skating in the near future.
