Pennie's Story
I didn't get married right out of school, but was married before I turned 25. I had a son within 3 yrs. My parents moved to Arizona when they retired and my inlaws were in Seattle, so we moved half way between the 2 sets of parents, which put us in Reno, Nevada. We lived there for approximately 5 yrs. Then we moved back to the pacific northwest. We had a daughter 17 yrs after our son, she was unplanned but loved never the less, as it took us to many years to have her. at even though I missed the greenery I really didn't miss the rain. A little over 2 yrs ago my husband decided he didn't want to be married anymore and filed for divorce, big shock to me after 28 yrs of marriage. As soon as it was final, I did move back to Washington so as to be closer to family. But after 2 yrs. I decided I was better off living in Wyoming because no matter where I was living it was hard to find decent work. So I moved back, partly so I was closer to my son and his family and so that my daughter could see her father on a more regular basis. We now live in the birthplace of JCPenney's.!
