In school I lived in "The Village" off Culver, was in a full leg cast 3 or 4 times during High School including Grad day, could continue plowing toward the goal in mud football with 4 or 5 people on my back, spent most of my free time wondering around the pavillion or green belts of The Village, also hung around with Chuck Hoffmeister in Mission Viejo with Rob Ingram. 2021: Still married to my best friend. Now almost 20 years. I have moved back to Arizona finally. I've wanted out of California for a VERY long time. I got tired of still working (I like working but) while public employees who I knew worked much less than private workers and got FAT pensions at young ages and sat around laughing and joking in expensive restaurants that most people couldn't afford. Being in Sacramento I'm sure I saw that more than most. I don't hold it against them for taking the money, it was the pension system in California that is badly broken. Nearly every employment law was designed to make my employees my enemy and me look like a crook because I was a business owner. I had to get the hell out. So I'm back in Scottsdale and loving it. 6 years here. Still running the business after closing the California corp and opening an LLC here. I'm down to 5 freelancers and me now which is just fine.
