I miss Okinawa so much. I remember scuba diving, riding in my van up to the waterfalls and skinny dipping. I had a motorcycle accident one time when I was riding on the back with this newbie and we wrecked it then it exploded. We were up in the north part of Oki - near...nothing - LOL. Eventually some old guy came driving by and took us to a guy that he said spoke english - Charlie Brown - that was his name. He figured out how to get us to the NTA and when we go...Expand for more
t there - no one was sober enough to fly the helicopter to take us back to Torii so we had to see the medic (he was drunk)and the Captain (he was drunk) and we spent the night. I was the only woman in the place. I kept getting phone calls to my room from all the guys and here I was all banged up and scraped up from the accident and these guys were...drunk. So I went out to the CQ (young newbie) and told him that if he put another call to my room that I would kick his ass and THEN call the comander to have him come see what I did to him. LOL - What a weekend!
