Penny's Story
After 30 some years in Las Vegas I have finally moved "home". I never stopped missing Michigan. Las Vegas was great when I was younger, but as the years went on Vegas changed and so did I.
I have two sons and am finally a grandmother. My oldest Dan lives in Illinois and my youngest Justin, just moved to Pittsburgh with his family. I was a single mother after my husband passed in 78. It was a trip at times trying to raise two sons. Life was never the same, one day smooth the next all hell breaking lose.lol I wouldn't change a thing. my sons are my life and have given me more joy than I ever had a right to expect.

m now living in South Rockwood and love it. It's still country....lots of open land. So beautiful. Life here is wonderful and I am so happy to be here. I guess we don't appreciate our "home" until we live in another state. My question is why a desert??? I must admit I never found the beauty in the desert. I missed the seasons and Christmas with snow.
And here we are about to celebrate our 50th Class Reunion. Where did all the years go? Life has gone fast, but it was a wonderful ride. I look forward to seeing classmates. Old friends that I haven't touched base with in years.
