I am a partially proud veteran of the U.S. Army. I've completed overseas tours in Germany, Egypt, and South Korea.My state side duty stations included Ft. Hood Texas, Ft. Polk Louisina, and Ft. Campbell Kentucky. I've been on several deployments, which included Somlalia, and the Middle East. I humbly retired in Jan 2003.

ful children: Lavar, and LaShonda. My son LaVar is 25, and married to his high school sweetheart Lalondra Reed Vance. They currently reside in Lithonia Georgia.
My daughter Lashonda is 21, and is currently studying Kinesiology, she also works part-time as a manager for TOGO's.
I like to refer to myself as a professional student, as I'm a firm believer in the power of education, and will attest that no one is ever too old to learn. I'm currently completing my degree in Psychology/Behavioral Studies. I'm almost there, however, the closer I get to achieving my goal, the harder that old devil pushes me to quit! But guess what? The devil is liar, and I will not stop until I get that PHD, if the Lord says the same.
