Penny's Story
Life
I graduated Pekin High in 1974. I married my first husband Feb. 17, 1976. I had twin son's on May 5, 1977. They passed away the same day. I had my daughter Nov. 8 1978, Kelly Dawn Grube. I divorced my husband, Ron, Oct. 8, 1979. I had our son Nov. 10, 1979, Scott Alan Grube. I remarried Ron Aug. 8, 1980. We divorced again June 12, 1991. I married Larry Stoehr Jan. 23, 1993. I now have 3 stepchildren also and 5 stepgrandchildren. My brother Brad Perino passed away May 2, 1993. My father, Dr. B.J. Perino passed away March 28, 1999. My mother Teresa passed away June 27, 2003 at Pekin Manor. My other brother, B.J.Perino, II. Well, I just don't know. We don't talk . That's all I have to say about him.
My daughter Kelly is stationed now in Hawaii with her husband Randy Painter for 3 years. Formerly she was in Okinawa for 3 years. She is now pregnant with her first child due August 3, 2...Expand for more
004. UPDATE: She had a girl. Rebecca Lynn. I'm now officially a Grandmother, for real.
My son Scott is still working at Pekin Manor. UPDATE: Scott is now working installing fences. Seems like a good job and good pay.
UPDATE: Scott married Nicole Darling Dec. 31, 2007. Probably won't have any children. They are both in agreement on that.
My daughter Kelly is now out of the Navy. Her Husband became an officer and they now live in Chesapeake , VA. He got back in May after 8 months tour.
July 6, 2009: Miss my daughter and grand-daughter and son-in-law. Will hopefull see them this Sept.
And life goes on.
UPDATE: March 7, 2016 My daughter had a son Aug 17, 2012, Ethan Alexander Painter. My husbands 2 granddaughters now have 2 children so I am now a step great grandma. My brother B.J. Perino, II passed away Oct. 1, 2014. My parents and brothers are gone now. I'm the only one left. :(
