Per's Story
Life
Since 2000 I live about 10 miles north of Stockholm, Sweden, with my wife Linda and my son Jonathan. Linda and I got married in 1998 and we had our son in november of 2002. Our second child is on its way and is expected to see our world in the beginning of july 2005. July 8th, 2005 our second son Rasmus is born. September 2006 - Linda got a job offer in the south of Germany that we couldn't say no to. Jonathan is attending german Kindergarten and is learning german rapidly. I'm currently a stay-at-home dad taking care of Rasmus.
College
After high school I attended Schiller International Univeristy in Germany for one semester. It was mainly a business school and didnät satisfy my technology oriented mind. But it was the only "english speaking" school in the area which I could attend. So, the second semester I focused on learning german and completing the swedish high school. After a year in a swedish collage, some military service, and some working I finally ended up at Lund Institute of Technology in 1992. Workplace
After I had my masters in 1996 I started to work for a company called Novotek. It is the reseller of Intellution Inc. software in northern Europe. I worked as a system designer adapting the software to our customers needs. In 1998 my wife Linda started to work for a company in another part of Sweden. I tagged along (nice guy, eh?) and set up an office in our house, working as a local tech rep for the company. However, new town, no friends, no collegues, evidentually led to a new job. I wanted to work for a local company so I could get some friends. In 1999 I started to work for a local firm developing software. A month later Linda had a new job in Stockholm. I followed her there (nice guy agian!). I just happened that my new employer had a sales office in Stockholm were I could work. I stayed whith the company until we bought our house, where we live now. It just happened that a company close to the house needed reinforcment. Since 2001 I work for Aldata Solution AB as a Software Designer.
Military
Not much to say. I did my mandatory 12 months in the swedish army.
