Perry's Story
May 2008 -- Okay here's the latest on me: My life is going pretty well. I finished my Master's degree last May [2007], retired from the military [Navy Enlisted] in June and in July I took a job as a Project Manager for Classified Networks at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab in Maryland. I love my job and I love the DC area. I plan to stay a while so I bought a lovely new home just outside DC on the Maryland side.
The kids: My Son Marcelles just finished his first year at Louisiana Tech University on a track scholarship. He has a B average majoring in accounting and finance, which makes his daddy extremely happy. My oldest daughter Jasmine has accepted a full scholarship [Academic] to Penn State University where she plans to major in Public Relations and Hospitality Management (which also makes daddy $$E...Expand for more
XTREMELY$$ happy). My youngest daughter Kameryn is a beautiful, happy, healthy 10 year old who keeps me as busy as can be with all of her activities, but it's cool, she also keeps me young (feeling young anyway!)
That's my life in a nutshell. I am truly blessed and I try not to take any of it for granted.
Finally, for those of you who knew me [us] at John Marshall... Tyrace and I are still the best friends. He lives in Atlanta now and is also retired from the military. Not much has changed with us since 1982... He is still crazy and loud but I love him to death. We still talk on the phone almost every day and see each other every chance we get. We are planning a trip to Oklahoma this summer and would love to see some of our old friends, so feel free to drop either of us a note.
