Melinda's Story
Attended University of Nevada for nursing degree after high school.
Moved to Australia in early '70's to work in their hospital system. Specialized in Open Heart recovery unit and ICU.
Met husband on vacation in Israel in 1974. He was giving a paper in Jerusalem at the International Society of Hematology. We met on a tour bus in the Negev Desert. He's English, but lived in US.

ates and then to England as husband pursued academic carrier. I taught Nursing at the AA level for 8 years after we moved back to the States. He is now retired and we have moved to Northern California where most of my maternal family came from. I continue to work, and have become an Oncology Certified nurse. My passion is animal rescue and I train shelter dogs to prepare them for adoption. I have 3 very large black dogs and a white carpet!
