Pete's Story
I have a love for serving God, seeing friends, and my animals. I have been a past commander in Royal Rangers in church, like Boy Scouts, only we taught about Jesus as well as the scouting stuff. I was the president of a local Little League for 10 years.
Now, I am retired due to disabilities I received while serving in the U.S. Air Force-was injured in 1967.
I have my horses, who are my legs, to get out & my 2 dogs. But, mostly I have the loving support of my wife and family!
i have taught 5&6 grade SundaY school, we sing in the church choir, and various worship teams when needed. When weather permits, i have horse friends, & we take underprivilided children for rides at the ranch. Mostly in summer.

life is slowing down. My past injuries are catching up with me as I grow older. I spend most of my time with my wife, as she is my best friend, nurse and keeper. I have always lived with pain, but now it is getting worse, so I do not get out much--I have severe headaches, and nerve damage, and have to stay out of the sun. But, like I said before---It isn't so bad, as I can always look around and find someone who is worse off than I am. And, best of all,, :God is in control of my life". If you wish, you may pray for me, but please do not feel sorry for me, as I am well taken care of.
Thanks to all of you for your friendship and support, it means a lot. May you learn to trust in Jesus, and let Him guide you.
Love to you-
Pete Hines
