Pete's Story

Gosh, didn't realize I hadn't posted a "story". Don't have a FB account yet - not enough free time to maintain dialogue. I'll keep it as short as I can: - UCD 70-74 Fermentation Science (winemaking and grape growing) - Stanford Business School 1978-1980 (MBA) - Married college sweetheart 1981 - Divorced from college sweetheart 1986 - Ran Robert Mondavi production operations (wineries and vineyards and research) until 2005 - Married current spouse in 1991, have 2 boys now 15 and 17 (at Justin-Siena high-school in Napa) - Quit wine industry 2006 (after buy-out by evil corporation - tried one year with new guys but no cigar) - Back to school 2007-2009 - passed CFP (Certified Financial Planner) boards at end of 2009 - Now working/learning as Fin...Expand for more
ancial Planner in small partnership - will get CFP "license" near end of 2012 (need 3 years on-the-job) - Also doing investment fiduciary work (sounds scary but really just organized common sense) - All about honest, ethical. one-on-one profession. Nothing to hide, all about the client succeeding. No big company in the mix! - Center of life is definitely kids but empty nest is in sight - Kids are amazing - really smart, kind, both hot musicians specializing in 60's rock! - Other interests include riding my bike up mountains, snow skiing, hiking and fishing, gardening, astronomy, liberal political advocacy, World of Warcraft, doing the right thing.
