Peter Amis:  

I am married to Lauren Drury Amis, of Jesup, GA. I have four amazing children, Elizabeth, Riley, Walker, and Wyatt. I currently reside in Winder GA, just 17 miles from the University of Georgia. Go Dawgs! I attend church at Bethlehem Church in Bethlehem, GA. I have served this great Nation with distinction for over 26 years. During this time, I had a 9- year break in service, completed college at Valdosta State University with a BS in Trade, Technical and Adult Education and taught High School for 9 years. I left public education to pursue an Active-Duty position with the GA Army National Guard. I am currently the Command Sergeant Major for 1st Battalion 121st Infantry Regiment, a 720-man Light Infantry Unit within the mighty 48th IBCT of the GAARNG.
