Peter's Story
Life
I'm living in Albemarle, NC with my wife Renee and son Gregory. I have a store called Vac & Dash. We sell vacuum cleaners and running shoes. It's a strange combination, but works well in a small town.
School
I'm proud to say that I grew up in Sebring, Florida. It was a great place to be raised. Looking forward to the 30th year reunion.
Most of the teachers were great, a couple were very arrogant. Turn around moment when Pam Anderson told me I had a 59.5 average and she was not going to round it up to a D because she knew I could do better if I applied myself. That F she gave me in first semester American History did wonders for me.

I moved back to Sebring and opened Sunshine Sales & Promotions. After selling the business in the late 80's, I moved to Venice, Florida and worked as a Sales Rep for The Eureka Company. That job took me to North Carolina where I eventually became Branch Manager of the Charlotte Region, covering the mid-Atlantic states. Left Eureka to join Bosch as they introduced their line of vacuums to the states.
Within one year, Bosch downsized operations, so I opened my own store called Vac & Dash. We sell vacuum cleaners, running shoes & clothes, repair bicycles, sell advertising specialties and we are a UPS Shipping Outlet. Albemarle is the size of Sebring in the 70's. So it works well for a small town.
