Peter's Story
After graduating from Ripon High in 1963 I obtained my B.A. from Carleton College, my M.A. and A.B.D. from Washington University and my M.Div. from Eden Theological Seminary.
My first professional employment was a campus ministry at Florida State University, from 1973 through 1976.
I was the Executive Director of Common Cause from 1973 through 1982, the Executive Director of the Florida Mental Health Association from 1982 to 1984. I continue to be active as a volunteer in Common Cause, but founded my own computer...Expand for more
business, in which I served from 1984 through 2001. I then sold my business to Advanced Solutions International, where I was employed to my retirement at the end of October, 2010. ASI specializes in software for non-profit organizations. I continue to be involved as a stockholder.
I am now retired, with my wife, Sally (since 1968), two children, located in Burbank, CA and Tarrytown, NY, two sons-in law and four grandchildren.
I continue to be active as a volunteer in Common Cause and enjoy reading and woodworking.
