Life
4/07 I've been living in Port Jefferson for the past 23 years and have been married to Kathy for 15 years. She has two children both now grown, employed with benefits, and living on their own-- although we see them often. One is a teacher and the other is a physical therapist. I have 1 child who is graduating high school this year and will be off to college next year.
Whenever we can get away, Kathy and I trek up to our other house near Lake Placid, NY. We're into 3 seasons of outdoor sports up there-- mostly...Expand for more

This past June, after 26 years of teaching and 9 years of union work in Smithtown, I decided to retire. I found that more and more over the past several years, my hobbies and personal interests kept getting pushed aside. I still work a day and one-half for the union. But, reading, cooking, woodworking and photography are taking up the bulk of my time. Presently, I'm remodeling our kitchen.
Retirement was a very good personal decision for me, I recommend it highly.
