Life After a false start as a theater tech, I went back to shyster school and ended up as employee benefits counsel to The Hearst Corp. After yet another false start in marriage to the former Pat Dlugokencky, I've remarried to a wonderful neurologist, Louise Klebanoff, and finally sired an intrepid (and occasionally destructive, but always adorable) son Maxwell, now 6. We all live in NYC, and, after 9/11, I've learned a new definition for "community". As of 06/07/04, I began a new job as staff attorney for the LegalHealth Cancer Project of NYLAG. It's better than Hearst! However, with both my father and most of my clients at NYLAG dying while I was there, I left after a year with another bad cervical disk and a plan to go into private practice.
