Peter's Story
After CHS I went on to URI got a degree in Zoology, then onto Texas A&M for a degree in Marine Science. I then stumbled into education, (teaching, coaching etc.) at Bridgton Academy in Maine , where a "temporary stay" turned into a 39 year career. Looking back, a lot of things fell in line and I found the place/career that brought me fulfillment on many levels. I retired in 2016 and still live in Maine.
I met my wife while at URI. We have two adult children, son and a daughter, and are really enjoying "grand parenting" ( better description for something MUCH more than just babysitting) for two great, active, healthy grandsons.
We have been fortunate to still be active and healthy. I play something that vaguely resemb...Expand for more
les golf, spend a lot of time on my motorcycle and take great advantage of our winters with all the ski slopes I can manage to get too. ( thanks to Ski Valley and Diamond Hill for giving me a lifetime sport and career!).
While I am no longer in RI, we still keep in touch with our RI connections of life long friends and I really look forward to those planned visits. However, those random meetings, bumping into folks from my past never cease to bring a smile to my face and an appreciation for all that has transpired.
