Peter J. Harold:  

Following graduation from Somers H.S. I completed my BA degree in Social Science. A short stint in the U.S. Army followed as a Communications Specialist. My lovely wife Erica and I married in 1972. We have two wonderful children, Siobhan and Peter, as well as three terrific grandchildren, Braeden, Callen and Chloe Jaye. In 1972, I started working for the N.Y.S. Dept. of Mental Hygiene. I then completed my Masters In Hospital Administration in 1975. After working for 34 years in Health Care/Hospital Administration, I retired in 2004, as New York State Director of Staff Development and Training for the Borough of Queens. In retirement, my wife and I have enjoyed traveling throughout Europe and the Caribbean. While living on Long Island, I worked as a volunteer with the Long Island Junior Soccer League for 23 years. I was in charge of the games committee, which served over 200,000 children on Long Island annually. Soccer soon became my new passion.
