Pete's Story
Life
I left Montclair shortly after HS and moved to Norhtern Vermont. When I was 21 I joined the US Coast Guard and believe it or not I enjoyed a 26 year career with it. I retired in '99 as a Chief Warrant Officer Four. I spent alomost my entire career in the northeast, from Portland, ME to NYC and finished in Mechanicsburg, PA where I was assigned as the CG Liaison Officer at the Navy Supply Center. s shore assignments I served on 4 high endurance cutters...mostly patroled the Carribean in the summer and fall and the North Atlantic during the winter and spring.
Semi-retired now and working when I want but getting really tired of not working. My wife and I live with just our 3 dogs. All the kids, three 24 year olds, are out and on their own.
