Peter's Story
Still single. I worked on old cars for 20 years as a hobby, then gave that up in the late 90's. I spent 20 years in the Messianic Movement (Jewish/Christian) as a worship leader. I'm now back in the church. I like playing Jewish folk, American folk, Bluegrass, Oldies, and some church music. My primary instrument is an acoustic rhythm guitar, but I have dabbled with bass and banjo. (and other instruments, too) I am teaching myself to play fiddle by ear in a weekly bluegrass jam session. I worked for many years doing hardware repairs on desktop, and laptop computers, until the field dried up. I got an Associate degree in computer networking technology (graduated with honors) in my late 40's and am now doing telephone support in a large Real Estate headquarters.
I'd like to see Miss(?) Fishelman. She was my English teacher and treated me with respect, even supporting my interest in fixing things.
I wasn't wild in school. Probably the closest thing to "wild" was when I skipped last period to work on a friend's car and openly admitted it to the house principal. I explained that I thought I would get a more useful education changing an engine in a car than sitting in a Short-Fiction class!
My first crush was in high school. She was in a different social class than I was. she was an A student and very popular (and pretty). I was introduced to her through a neighbor and friend on the bus. Although she was in a much higher social standing than I was, she was ALWAYS pleasant to me and didn't act like the differences were important.

t and caring person, who although being reserved, was very sincere, and considerate of others.
Happy? Hard question. I would likely be happily married without kids, in a job where I was respected and felt confident in my ability to do good work. I would probably like restoring classic cars or playing folk music. I'd like to live in the country, (probably in the south) or a wooded area, or a remote coastal area. Some neighbors but a lot of open space.
My biggest surpise is that the computer hardware (repair) field dried up. I'm also surprised at how incredibly liberal our country has become and is becoming!! I am amazed at the new laws which are being passed!! I want to shake someone and ask "what were you thinking?!!!!
I'd try to be more friendly in high school (less wrapped up in my own problems) and I would have gone to college right after high school to get at least a Bachelor's degree and maybe a Master's. I'd also look at marriage more seriously.
I lived in New Jersey, New York State and Connecticut with my family, as Dad changed jobs. I lived in Florida and Mississippi on my own after high school. Then, I joined the Navy and lived in Illinois for school, Hawaii and California. After the Navy I went to school for electronics in Connecticut, but had been spoiled and no longer liked winter. I decided to live in Florida, Hawaii, or Califiornia. Hawaii is nice, but too isolated and expensive. Florida was nice, but at the time didn't have much economy, so when I heard about a job opening in CA my last few months in Electronics school, I accepted it.
